在目前的锂离子电池行业,石墨类负极材料仍然占据锂电负极材料的主流地位。但近年新型负极材料等的研究与应用也开始受到业内关注,钛酸锂新型负极材料是一个非常重要的方向。
Li4Ti5O12相对于锂电极的电位为1.55V,理论比容量为175mAh/g,实际比容量150~160mAh/g。在Li 嵌入或脱出过程中,晶型不发生变化,体积变化小于1%,因此被称为“零应变材料”。这一特性使其具有比碳负极更优良的循环性能。
钛酸锂具有一些其它负极材料无可比拟的优点。作为动力锂离子电池的负极材料,有着巨大的研究价值和商业应用潜力。
2012中国锂电负极材料研讨会将于8月23-25在山东青岛召开,来自瑞士克莱恩/德国南方化学的专家将出席会议,并做关于钛酸锂负极材料的研究进展的大会报告。

R&D updates on LTO based Anode Materials
The graphite based materials still occupy the mainstream of the LIB anode materials. While in recent years, the R&D of novel anode materials are concerned by the industry, Li4Ti5O12 (LTO) is a significant direction.
The electrode potential of LTO is 1.55V (vs. lithium), the theoretical capacity is 175mAh/g, the actual capacity is 150 ~ 160mAh/g. LTO’s crystal form does not change when Lithium inserting in or escaping out, the volume change is less than 1%, so called "zero-strain material”. These features make it a better cycling performance than the carbon anode.
LTO has the particular advantages comparing other anode materials. As an anode material for power lithium-ion battery, it has a huge value and potential for commercial applications.
2012 China LIB Anode Materials Conference will be held in August 23-25 in Qingdao, Shandong Province. The expert from Clariant/Sud-Chemie will deliver a presentation on the R&D updates on LTO based Anode Materials.
